The Antoñana, Borda and Arriola familes founded Bodega Inurrieta in 1999 in a small valley in the South of Navarra. These familes belong to the young wine-grower's generation. The Bask name is a homage to the country in which their ancestors have been growing wines for over a century. A lot has been invested in first class vineyeards and modern vaults. This paired with a return to the ancient tradition of the handicraft of wine-making reprents the spell of this new wine-makers´ avant-garde.

The vineyard is situated at the point of intersection between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic climate, and due to the altitude of the vineyards (300-500m) the cold winds of the Pyrenees bring sufficient humidity also in the summertime. This is the closest any Spanish wine comes to a French cru.

The "Mediodía" is a wonderful Rosé with it's full body - a seducer with it's flavors of hibiscus, sour cherries, red berries, rose petals & a nip of tannins. One of the best spanish Rosés.

Wonderful wine for apéros, tapas, asian cuisine, gazpacho, fingerfood, vegetarian food or also with BBQ.
