The Conti family, originating from Northern Italy, settled in the Southwest of France in 1925. In 1984 Luc de Conti a member of the third generation started the planting of vines. Today his vineyards extend over 52 hectares and within these we find 3 vastly different “terroirs”: Les Gendres, Les Grand Cailloux and St. Julien d’Eymet.

Luc de Conti has literally revolutionized the viniculture in Bergerac by restricting his output and late harvesting in a most selective way, picking only well ripened grapes. Since 1994 his viniculture is biologic-dynamic (as well as vegan). Her received the corresponding certification in 2005. His natural methods can be seen in the surrounding nature which includes 11 different types of orchids. Moreover there is now an abundance of birds and butterflies, and even truffles can be found on his land.

These fine wines, based on biodynamic principles come in white and red. They have all an individual character with a fabulous fruit aroma, a splendid elegance coupled with finesse and great balance.

A marvellous wine most enjoyable with your everyday meals, lasagna, fowl and liver specialties.
