Visan "À FLEUR" 2021

The wines in the northern part of the southern Rhône valley are crisper, more elegant and more structured than the more southern ones and this thanks to the higher ground as well as the increased content of Shiraz.

Young Adrien Fabre ably runs the two vineyards "La Florane" in Visan and  "L'Echevin" in Saint Maurice. Both produce still lesser known appellations.
Adrien Fabre enthusiastically explains that the biodynamic (vegan) cultivation is the prerequisite for the best basic material. He states: We ferment without adding external yeasts and enzymes, and at the moment we are experimenting with the fermentation of the mash inside the casks.

"À FLEUR" is an attractive and delicious young wine with a fresh fruity flavour, best served cool. A wine ideal with spicy sausages, different vegetables - with or without pasta, potatoe-salad, for a picnic or just for improvised moments.
