Winemaker Frederic Albaret from Montpellier, who bought 13 hectares of vineyards in 1994, (today 26ha) is a dynamic and likable gentleman. In hard manual labour, he produces from his meager soil magical and elegant wines which need no showy marketing as they possess a superior and elegant texture with silky tannins caressing our pallet. All wines of the "Domain Saint Antonin" are ecological.
The "Lou Cazalet" has an intensive nose of wild herbs and berries. The excellent "Faugères-Harvest" of 2012 represents great quality at a most reasonable price. Accompanies well with red meat. lamb, filled vegetables or if you just want to enjoy a good sip of wine. A must for all lovers of Faugères wines!
